I went to Mexico for silicone and found something else.

Bad news first: The shipment of industrial-grade polymers needed for Cock Chalk Batch 002 is currently stuck in customs. Apparently, you can’t label 50 drums of lubricant as "smoothie mix." My bad.

The good news? I had to fly down to Mexico to "negotiate" with the suppliers.

The meeting was held at a neutral location to ease tensions. I chose a spot called Sueño Del Sol . It’s a boutique hotel, mostly because I refuse to negotiate friction coefficients unless I’m on a thread count higher than my credit score.

I sat down with the supplier. He was tough. He wanted more money. I wanted more slide. We were at an impasse.

That’s when I pulled out the secret weapon: A bottle of Sueños Artisan Tequila .

I said, "Look, Jorge. We might not have the lube yet, but we have the spirit." Three hours later, we hadn't signed a contract, but we had invented a new sport involving a Slip 'N Slide and a lime. I’ll try to get the ingredients again next week. I hear they have good polymers in Vegas.
